  2. Lead collaboration with stakeholders including other research institute, professional associations, employers, universities, government agencies to promote the value of health information in decision making
  3. Be recognized within and outside the university as the reference standards for best practices in HIM research
  4. Partner with other HIM professional association within and outside the university to establish International HIM research center 
  5. Promote health information management research and publication
  6. Promote HIM professionals knowledge and skills through planning and implementing mentoring program, workshop and distributing research findings
  7. Partner with industry, professional associations, employers, universities, government agencies  through shared project to further realize the potential of health information management
  8. Formulating marketing strategy to attract contribution and sharing resources to support HIM research
